Best choice I’ve made during my time in Amsterdam! I completed WSET level 3 in English and the learning process was fun and highly engaging. Wouter prepared us very well for a challenging and demanding examination and helped us to get rid of the fear of blind tasting. He is an excellent tutor with deep knowledge in wine who goes above and beyond with his teaching methods, from choosing incredible wines to sharing some extra bits of knowledge outside the curriculum to keep us excited about wines. This has been one of the most constructive and rich learning experiences I could have imagined for a WSET Level 3 provider. The teacher (Wouter) was so helpful in supplementing the standardised and necessary knowledge of the WSET with rich information and context about the world of wine! He was an excellent tutor and instructor in tasting as well, offering us some unique tasting samples and experiences and accompanying as we explore and expand our palate. The environment of the AWA is also very friendly and approachable, an excellent space and place to sit, learn, and taste.
